1. Introduction
Welcome to privis.app, operated by Zumitomi Oy, a Finnish company based in Vantaa. By using our service, you agree to these Terms of Service.
2. Our Service
privis.app is a web-based messaging platform focused on privacy. We offer flexible encryption levels and do not require phone numbers or email addresses.
3. User Accounts
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password.
- You may not use another person’s account without permission.
- For privacy reasons: Avoid choosing your own name as the Public Nickname. Do not use other people’s real names as your Nickname unless it is a very common first name.
4. Privacy & Data Protection
We take privacy very seriously. Please read our Values & Transparency page and our Privacy Policy for details on how we handle data.
We do not sell user data, show advertisements, or build advertising profiles.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use privis.app for:
- Illegal activities
- Spam or harassment
- Distribution of malware
- Impersonating others
- Any activity that significantly harms our service or other users
6. Message Deletion & Retention
Messages are subject to your chosen auto-deletion settings. All messages are encrypted. Also the Username is encrypted so we cannot find your messages if you ask us to delete them. But all messages have auto-delete set up. Also if you delete your account they will be deleted.
7. Service Availability
We strive to keep privis.app available, but we do not guarantee 100% uptime. We are not liable for temporary interruptions or outages.
8. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time via the service interface.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Zumitomi Oy is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of privis.app.
10. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Finland. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Finland.
11. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms occasionally. We will notify users of significant changes via the service.
