privsend.app
Send a secret. It opens once, then it is gone.
No account for you. No account for them.
Encrypted in your own browser before it leaves your device.
What It Is For
Some things should not sit in a mailbox or a chat history: a password, a bank detail, a document only one person should ever see. Email keeps a copy forever. Messaging apps keep a copy on every device that saw it.
PrivSend gives you a link instead. You pass the link to your recipient, who opens it once, and the secret destroys itself in that same moment. If nobody ever opens it, it destroys itself anyway โ at a time you chose when you created it.
Why PrivSend Stands Out
The Recipient Needs Nothing
No account, no app, no username โ and none for you either. Anyone with a browser
can open what you sent.
One Read, Then Gone
The secret is destroyed on our server the moment it is revealed. A link works
exactly once, and merely landing on the page does not consume it โ only a person
deliberately clicking Reveal does.
We Cannot Read It
Your secret is encrypted on your own device. The key that unlocks it travels in
the part of the link after the โ#โ, which browsers never transmit to any server.
We hold nothing but scrambled data.
Nothing to Install
It runs in any modern browser on any device. That matters precisely where
installing an app is awkward or impossible: a work laptop, a shared computer, or
a place where app stores are restricted.
You Can Check Our Work
The browser-side code is published under the AGPL, and a browser extension is
available for anyone who would rather run an installed, versioned copy than trust
the code a website hands out on each visit.
Built in Finland
Operated by Zumitomi Oy under EU law, on our own server.
How It Fits Alongside privis.app
privis.app is for conversations โ the people you talk with regularly. PrivSend is for the one-off: something that has to reach a person who does not use privis.app, and that should not remain anywhere afterwards.
Send Something Safely Today
There is no sign-up. Write the secret, create the link, pass it on.
